Cath’ness
as she is fondly known by her her
collegues resumed her career on
Radio in 2001. She has been with VUT
FM then known as Radio Tritek while
she was still studying Retail
Management here at VUT. Because of
her passion for Radio Cathy dropped
her studies to pursue her interest
(Radio). She was hosting the
National\International charts on
Saturday evenings between 18:00 and
20:00, and recently been placed to
host the 10:00 – 14:00 Mid-morning
rendezvous’, replacing the
talented Gino-Ginelli , who will now
be doing the 21:00 – 00:00 slot.
Cathy
is very excited about her new shift
and flattered at the very same time,
because she will be filling in the
shoes of one of VUT FM’s great
presenters.
Cathy
was born ,bred and buttered in the
Vaal (Sebokeng) and now resides at
Steel park. In the next five years
she sees herself growing with Radio.
Her Role model is her own mother
(who she aims to be) and Oprah
Winfrey (because of her ability to
use the power of broadcasting to
change the world).
